Summary:
We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced individual to join our team as the Vice President of Accounting. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all financial and accounting operations for the company and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the accounting department.
- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure accuracy and compliance with all regulatory requirements.
- Monitor and analyze financial data and provide strategic guidance to senior management.
- Prepare and present financial reports to the executive team and board of directors.
- Manage and coordinate the annual budgeting process.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with external auditors, tax advisors, and other financial stakeholders.
- Lead and mentor the accounting team, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Stay current on industry trends and best practices in accounting and finance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA required.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably in a leadership role.
