The Group
Headquartered in Boston, the High Income & Alternatives group has more than $100B in assets under management (AUM). The group s AUM are invested \u201Cacross the capital structure,\u201D including in high yield bonds, leveraged loans, convertible bonds, alternative credit, and equities. Fundamental research is the foundation of the group s investment process.
The Role
The Research Analyst will be responsible for developing research on credits in one or more sectors. They will work with managing director of research and the high income portfolio management team to provide fundamentally based investment recommendations and maintain and update written research reports/models for names under their coverage.\u00A0\u00A0
Located in Boston, you will report to the Managing Director of Research for High Income & Alternatives.
Publish in-depth research and ad hoc reports, including same-day analysis of market-moving events
Communicate regularly with the portfolio management team
Build financial models
Mentor early career associates
Qualifications
We are seeking candidates who have the following characteristics:
Strong academic background, masters degree preferred
10 or more years of relevant work experience in high income research
Modeling and valuation experience required
Strong written and oral communication skills required

Fidelity's working model blends the best of working offsite with maximizing time together in person to meet associate and business needs. Currently, most hybrid roles require associates to work onsite all business days of one assigned week per four-week period (beginning in September 2024, the requirement will be two full assigned weeks).
