Our Higher Education Sales Associates are on the front lines of driving and supporting learning innovation. They act as account managers, consulting with Colleges and Universities to help educators across the nation increase student success. In this line of work, you will offer world class digital, print, and service solutions that address the issues and challenges facing students, faculty, and institutions today. The goal is to move prospects through the sales pipeline by conducting a needs analysis, providing solutions, navigating negotiations and finally, obtaining a verbal commitment! “ A customer called in upset about an order that he had placed. The order was supposed to be ready for pickup, but he had not received any communication about it one way or the other! This order was important to our customer because he had promised his partner that he would accomplish her desired project that weekend, but it wasn’t going to be possible without his new tools. This customer lived almost an hour away from the physical pickup site, and after having been burned by previous pick up orders that claimed to be ready but were not there when he made the drive, he was not going to risk it this time. Gas is expensive! I wanted to make sure that this loyal customer had the best experience with me and with our company, so I called his local store for him and waited on the line until I could get confirmation that the manager had eyes on the pickup order and that it was ready for my customer to make the trek over to get it. In doing so, we saved a sale, a loyal customer, and potentially even saved a marriage from an unnecessary fight!”

What should I bring to the interview?
Education : Some college demonstrating academic excellence (2 years preferred)
Sales Skills and Aptitude : Consistently call 15+ faculty a day, coordinate and lead sales demonstrations on key products and solutions, and maintain accurate tracking and forecasting in the system.
Technical Proficiency : This position requires you to toggle back and forth between multiple systems while communicating with the customer. You will need to have intermediate/advanced technical proficiency
Availability : Open availability between 8am-8pm Monday through Saturday, Time zone depends on location assignment
Pay Expectation : Our Higher Education Sales pay rates start at $17/hr plus up to $3/hr bonus pay in production
Nothing compares to my home office – Can I work from home?
A PC or laptop running Windows 10 operating system (NO Mac, Chromebook, Tablet or Smartphone)
High Speed Internet – minimum download speed of 10 Mbps and a minimum upload speed of 6 Mbps
Ability to connect directly to the internet service provider modem with an Ethernet cable, (WIFI is not acceptable)
2 dedicated computer monitors minimum 13 inches or larger
A VoIP USB Headset with microphone and a Web Cam for Training
Dedicated workspace in your home that is free of background noise and distractions
Additional equipment specifications will be tested during the interview process
