Requirements: Highschool diploma, GED, or equivalent.
Installation experience preferred.
Proven experience as a Warehouse Manager or similar role, with at least 3-5 years of experience in warehouse operations, preferably in the auto glass industry.
Strong leadership and management skills.
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
Proficient in warehouse management software (e.g., WMS).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Good problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Knowledge of safety and compliance regulations.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:

Manage day-to-day operations of the warehouse to ensure efficient and safe handling of glass products.
Monitor and manage the flow of glass and materials to ensure timely delivery.
Ensure staff adhere to company policies and safety procedures.
Schedule shifts and manage staff workloads to ensure efficient operations.
Ensure the warehouse operates in compliance with all health and safety regulations
Ensure proper handling, labeling, and packaging of glass products to prevent damage during transport.
Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
Implement and enforce company policies and procedures.
Ensure the quality of incoming and outgoing goods.
Coordinate with suppliers and transport companies for efficient goods movement.
Manage the warehouse layout and space utilization for optimal efficiency.
Oversee the loading and unloading of goods.
Develop and implement warehouse policies and procedures to improve efficiency and productivity
Physical Demands:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
Required to stand, walk, and sit; talk or hear, both in person and by telephone; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects or controls; reach with hands and arms. Regularly required to stoop, kneel, bend, crouch and lift up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, color vision and the ability to adjust focus.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time hourly position. Days and hours of work are generally Monday through Saturday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. This position regularly requires longer hours and weekend work.
Travel:
Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-area and overnight travel may be expected.
