Who We Are: Join the Signal & Embedded Technologies team, which focuses on developing signal processing software capabilities on mobile platforms for intelligence and surveillance applications.
Objectives of this Role: Apply passions and interests in software defined radio, digital signal processing, wireless communications, signal modulation, or machine learning in support of defense and intelligence applications.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary team of engineers and software developers to solve challenging signal processing problems.
Serve the team by developing next generation solutions, gaining programming experience, and advancing in development, integration, and troubleshooting skills.
Daily and Monthly Responsibilities: Create and refine innovative solutions and algorithms for automatic detection, recognition, demodulation, decoding, and geolocation of communication and electronic signals, to include the application of machine learning techniques.
Design, develop, integrate, test, and deploy signal processing software capabilities for applications in specialized radio communication, radiolocation, and electronic warfare programs.
Assist with research objectives and efforts focused on developing enabling technologies that can be deployed to meet customer needs.
Interact directly with project team, project management, and technical customers to fully understand the task objectives and opportunities.
Opportunities for international travel to government facilities/military bases or other customer facilities for system installations and to provide technical support.
Requirements: Requires a Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.
0-5 years: Coursework or internship focus on digital signal processing, wireless communications, software defined radio, image processing, signals & systems, or radar.
0-5 years: Coursework or internship focus on machine learning, deep learning, or artificial intelligence.
0-5 years: Proficiency with Linux, Python, and C/C++ required.
A valid/clear driver's license is required.
Special Requirements: Applicant selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Applicant must be a U.S. citizen.
