Manager, Business Intelligence – Website Analytics & Performance Marketing

Our client, an innovative sportswear brand, is on the hunt for a Business Intelligence, Website Analytics & Performance Marketing Manager to use data and systems to track, analyze, and report on key metrics to support a growing brand. The Manager will report to the Senior Director of Business Planning & Intelligence and work closely with cross-functional leaders to drive improved visibility, decision-making, and cross-functional transparency. This position is hybrid and based out of the Boston, MA office (4 days per week).

Responsibilities:

Spearhead the evolution of our website analytics and marketing performance methodology, serving as an expert on overall channel performance and strategy.

Utilize data to guide and enhance our acquisition and retention strategies.

Act as a valuable thought partner, contributing to the definition of the most effective metrics for measuring success.

Develop dashboards, analyses, and tools for the marketing team, facilitating a comprehensive understanding and optimization of allocation across channels and campaigns.

Continuously monitor marketing performance in alignment with goals, conducting regular and ad hoc analyses to pinpoint risks and opportunities across channels and tactics.

Conceive, drive, and share key analyses and insights with stakeholders.

Assist in addressing ad hoc cross-functional internal inquiries and requests, strengthening relationships with marketing, e-commerce, finance, operations, merchandise planning, and product teams.

Provide support for key analyses and workstreams spanning various projects, processes, and deliverables.

Required Qualifications:

Over 5 years of pertinent analytics experience, specializing in website analytics and performance marketing, ideally within an e-Commerce or DTC retail setting, including omni-channel retail.

2+ years of hands-on experience in managing and mentoring high-performing teams.

Holds a Bachelor's degree in business, economics, analytics, or a related field.

Highly skilled in data analysis and visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, ETL, SQL, Looker, or similar; proficiency in Python or R is an added advantage.

Proficient in working with eCommerce platforms like Shopify, GA4, online paid media, and CRM tools.

Possesses extensive knowledge of Microsoft Excel, demonstrating expertise in data management, transformation, and modeling.

Demonstrated experience across various systems, guiding and informing a growing insights team, with a strong adaptability to new platforms.

Business-oriented mindset, capable of extracting rich insights and providing suggestions for enhancing business performance.

A dedicated cross-functional collaborator and an effective team player.

Self-motivated with a keen desire to establish a best-in-class data practice, exhibiting the ability to thrive in a highly dynamic and fast-paced environment.
