The Application Support Engineer III customizes and configures software applications to fit with the company’s proprietary software or other existing commercial applications. Develops code to meet requirements and specifications of applications. Performs testing, troubleshooting and debugging of applications. Responsibilities: Summary

This is an senior level position that works on moderately complex projects and assignments under moderate supervision with some latitude for independent judgement and decision making. The Application Support Engineer III works both independently and with peers to provide application support.

Job Responsibilities Facilitates and assists with developing, monitoring, maintaining, supporting and upgrading applications.

Analyzes and tracks issues/technical problems, including diagnosis and root cause analysis. Resolve, escalate or redirect issues as appropriate.

Research and develop proposals or plans to resolve application issues.

Participate as part of team to implement issue resolution.

Research and implement enhancements that optimize and streamline the application functionality to meet business requirements.

Communicates timely updates to end-users and stakeholders.

Create accurate documentation in a timely manner.

Respectfully addresses situations or communicates decisions to assure stakeholder or end user concerns or needs are met.

Customizes and configures software applications to fit with the company’s proprietary software or other existing commercial applications.

Develops code to meet requirements and specifications of applications.

Performs testing, troubleshooting, and debugging of applications.

Qualifications: MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience

Minimum of 6-9 years of directly related experience

Strong analytical skills; ability to solve complex problems

Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written

Strong facilitation and interpersonal skills

Other department-determined skills or experience may be required

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Experience with PeopleTools 8.60.

Knowledge and/or experience with running PeopleSoft on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure

Knowledge and/or experience with integrating PeopleSoft with 3rd party Optical Character Recognition (OCR) scanning and other Supply Chain Management (SCM) applications.

4-7 years of experience with PeopleSoft Finance and HCM

2-3 years of experience with PeopleTools 8.59 or higher, including installation and configuration of PeopleTools Components.

3-6 years of experience with installation of PeopleSoft Update Manager (PUM), building selective adoption packages and change assistant.

3-6 years of experience of working with Microsoft SQL Server database platform and Windows servers.

Experience completing at least one major tools upgrade project and updates of PeopleSoft, Weblogic, Tuxedo, Java and other Oracle Critical Update Patches (CPU).

Experience with setup and maintenance of SSL/TLS capabilities for all PeopleSoft internal and external communication.

This role will have the opportunity to work partially at our campus and remotely. The annual base salary range for this position is from $99,445 to $157,144, and pay offered will be based on experience and qualifications.
