Position Summary:
The Talent Acquisition Supervisor will lead and manage the operations (driving & dock) recruiting efforts and strategy for A. Duie Pyle. This position will work closely with hiring managers to fill various positions within Pyle including but not limited to: truck drivers, dockworkers, warehouse, terminal operations leadership, etc. The TA Supervisor will be a player coach, meaning they will have a requisition workload in addition to managerial responsibilities.
The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:
Managing, coaching and developing a team of five (5) recruiters
Partnering with hiring managers and managerial leadership to identify staffing needs and the position qualifications and skills required to fill vacancies throughout company
Performing full-life cycle recruiting for open positions including: developing successful recruitment strategies, sourcing & screening candidates, participating in onsite interviews, soliciting feedback, and extending/negotiating offers
Teaming with approved external recruiters and employment agencies to identify and recruit candidates
Learning all levels of the organization, and be able to make decisions and prioritize on behalf of the hiring teams
Leveraging and maintaining data reports and performance metrics to drive improvements
Assisting with the overall TA strategy and advertising initiatives to grow Pyle’s brand
Managing the Driver Recruiting ATS (TenStreet) including each recruiter’s requisition workload
To be qualified for this position, you must possess the following:
Minimum five (5) years' experience in high volume recruiting; Bachelor's degree
Ability to multiple requisitions for different types of roles while supporting different hiring managers – transportation or supply chain experience strongly preferred
Proven success meeting hiring deadlines in a fast paced, deadline driven environment
Excellent written and oral communication skills
The ability to multitask and adapt quickly to change
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Experience with affirmative action plans & diversity recruitment
