The Company, a leading pharmaceutical firm, is seeking a Vice President, Late Stage Clinical Development - Breast Oncology TA Development Head to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing executive leadership in the development of comprehensive late-stage clinical strategies for the company's assets in breast cancer. This role demands a seasoned leader in oncology drug development with a deep understanding of the end-to-end process, therapeutic area expertise, and the executive capabilities necessary to bring potential treatments to fruition. The VP will oversee a team of drug development experts, ensuring the integration of development strategies and the delivery of high-quality, cost-effective programs that align with both clinical and commercial priorities.Applicants must have an MD, PhD, or equivalent with extensive clinical experience, and a minimum of 10 years' in oncology development within the biotech or pharmaceuticals industry. Experience in biopharmaceutical drug development, regulatory submissions, and marketing authorization applications is essential, with a preference for those with a background in breast cancer. The role requires a leader who can work collaboratively across a complex, cross-functional team, and who possesses a strong ability to influence at all levels. The ideal candidate will have a track record of scientific productivity, a thorough understanding of oncology and cancer biology, and the ability to evaluate business deal structures. Exceptional communication and presentation skills are a must, as is the ability to build and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders in the therapeutic area.
