IT Finance Manager

Infrastructure Management Role

Organization: Infrastructure Engineering Operations

Contract: 18 months, with potential for conversion

Interview Process: 2 rounds

Team Size: 3-4 people

Locations: Minneapolis, Irving, Chandler, Charlotte (3 days onsite/ 2 days remote)

Key Requirements

Seeking a candidate with strong experience in Infrastructure Management, IT Financial Management, and Investment/Budget Management.

Experience managing infrastructure investment requests, financial planning, forecasting, and spend management.

Strong understanding of major IT infrastructure vendors, such as IBM, Microsoft, NVIDIA, Cisco, Client, and AMD.

The focus is not on Software/Hardware Sourcing or Procurement; the primary focus is on managing, optimizing, and reducing contractual spend.

Experience managing Software, Hardware, and SOW-related financial processes.

Ability to evaluate investment requests, manage budgets, track financials, and identify opportunities for cost optimization and spend reduction.

Experience with IBM Apptio is preferred; however, Wells Fargo currently uses an internal investment-management tool.

Executive Communication

Strong experience preparing PPT decks and executive-level presentations.

Ability to present infrastructure investment budgets, financial forecasts, spend management, and investment recommendations to C-suite stakeholders.

Strong communication, stakeholder management, and financial analysis skills are essential.

Experience and Skills

Experience in infrastructure budget management, financial planning, or technology investment management. Strong understanding of budget forecasting, financial analysis, and governance processes.

Experience managing Statements of Work (SOWs), approval processes, and contract renewals.

Ability to communicate and present effectively to executives and senior leadership.

Strong analytical, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.

Working knowledge of software and technology environments, with the ability to translate technical concepts into business and financial impacts.

Preferred Qualifications: Experience supporting enterprise technology or infrastructure organizations. Background in vendor management, procurement, or technology finance. Advanced proficiency with reporting, budgeting, and financial planning tools.
