Job Description:

The Department of Orthopaedic Surgery, Division of Podiatry at the University of Florida College of Medicine – Jacksonville seeks a full-time faculty member at the non-tenure accruing level of Assistant Professor. Major responsibilities include teaching, patient care, and research.

This position will report to the Chief of Podiatry and Chairman of the Department of Orthopaedics at the University of Florida College of Medicine-Jacksonville. Following is a general description of duties and responsibilities:

Provide and maintain a high level of quality in-patient intermediate care services in all aspects of Podiatric medicine.

Provide clinical teaching of trainees in Podiatry program and participate in the educational program. Responsible for excellent communication with primary care physicians.

Assist in marketing the Podiatry Program to community physicians and managed care organizations.

Participate in monthly division meetings, administrative functions and institutional committees as requested.

Preferred Qualifications:

BE/BC in Podiatric Medicine is preferred.
