Facilities Manager
Job Description:
MACOM issearching for a qualified facilities manager to work in our Nashua, NHfacility. The primary objective of this role is to ensure our buildings andgrounds are clean and safe. The facilities manager oversees all aspects ofbuilding functions and guarantees the safety and functionality of allfacilities. Safety inspections, corresponding with contractors, planningmaintenance work, maintaining records, are part of daily standard work for thisrole.
Our idealcandidate is a Professional Project Manager who is well-versed in facilitiesmanagement processes and exhibits high multitasking and organizationalabilities.
Objectives
Ensure all building facilities adhere to proper safety standards andcleaning procedures.
Maintain equipment and building provisions to meet health and safetyrequirements.
Organize and plan building installments and refurbishments, as wellas equipment delivery, relocation, and installation.
Supervise facilities staff and facilities-related third-party visitsand communicate with external contractors and vendors.
Keep building and all facilities up to code and accurately followmaintenance protocol.
Responsibilities
Owns the equipment Lock out / Tag out process.
Cleaning and maintenance responsibilities to team members
Run routine maintenance inspections.
Monitor interior and exterior areas of building for cleanliness andgeneral conservation.
Prepare and implement project budgets and timeframes.
Comply with all health and safety policies and procedures.
Support maintenance and installment work as needed.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Project Management: the candidate must have demonstrated successfulfacilities modification projects, including planning equipment moves.
Experience in maintaining high-tech equipment, preferably in thesemiconductor / circuit board manufacturing industry.
Advanced mechanical and plumbing skills
Knowledge of HVAC and other building systems
Ability to lift heavy objects and do other labor-intensive tasks
Excellent time management and multitasking skills
Basic understanding of accounting and finance principles
Great leadership and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in and maintaining cleanrooms.
Experience working around electrostatic dissipative (ESD)-sensitivemanufacturing.
Certified Facility Manager (CFM) credential, or equivalent
Experience planning and maintaining facility-related project budgets.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Contract handling experience.
