Job Overview:

We are looking to hire a Senior Software Developer, responsible for building solutions that improve the onboarding experience for new advisors joining LPL. This position will guide other developers on the team in the agile development and evolution of solutions to deliver new capabilities and creating a new digital experience. This position will involve collaboration with other developers, business partners, architects, quality assurance, and release management to plan, design, develop and implement solutions for these needs. A successful candidate will have demonstrated experience delivering cloud-based web applications and APIs utilizing modern AWS Cloud and microservice patterns.

Responsibilities:

Serve as a subject matter expert for the team on all technical subjects including AWS development and implementation patterns.

Build and deliver features that have a direct impact on the success of the firm.

Develop core services and components with expertise in Domain Driven Design and API first development.

Collaborate with the team to design solutions and to document product architecture in accordance with SDLC guidelines.

Communicate with technical and non-technical groups on a regular basis as part of Agile ceremonies, demos, and team meetings.

Build solutions according to enterprise standards and participate in architecture and code reviews.

Provide technical troubleshooting and advanced de-bug support as needed.

What are we looking for?

We want strong collaborators who can deliver a world-class client experience . We are looking for people who thrive in a fast-paced environment , are client-focused , team oriented , and are able to execute in a way that encourages creativity and continuous improvement .

Requirements:

5+ Years hands on software development in a professional environment using SAFe or another Agile delivery method.

2+ Years building AWS-based full stack web applications (CloudFront, S3, API Gateway, Lambda, Fargate/EKS, DynamoDB)

5+ Years .NET experience

5+ Years SQL server, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, DocumentDB, etc.)

3+ years of API development techniques such as Domain Driven Design

Preferences:

BS or advanced degree in Computer Science, IT or related field

Agile leadership

DevOPs experience

Experience with Business-to-Business Customer Experience Portals

Confluent Kafka experience

Pay Range:

$103,360-$155,040/year

Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
