**About the Role**
A unique opportunity has become available for a driven and experienced **Senior Buyer.** The successful candidate will be responsible for for leading the day to day operations and morale of the Buying function , that maximises sales and profit in line with our E-Commerce KPI's and merchandise strategy.
**Reporting to the **Chief Merchandising Officer, your ke**y responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:**
* Responsible for OTB management within budget in conjunction with Lead Senior Planner for E-commerce
* Ongoing analysis and interpretation of market, trend, competitor, stock and sales to assist in resulting decisions
* Influencing & negotiating Suppliers/Manufacturers to meet business expectations
* Responsible for developing the skills and knowledge of the buying team, ensuring they have clear understanding of category/business KPI's
* Manage end-to-end order process from range plan to orders to follow up and delivery
* Analysis of category performance in conjunction with the Lead Senior Planner, market research
* Liaise with E-Commerce buyers so they can Illustrate market intelligence, build relationships with local, independent and international suppliers to gain insight on best sellers
* Ongoing website maintenance of categories, brand placement and representation
* Guide, empower and helps others in the Buying E-Commerce team that allows team to do their best work
**About you:**
* Demonstrated 5 years' experience in a Buying Role - Footwear Buying experience is preferred
* E-Commerce experience essentail- ideally in a Buying capacity advantageous
* Are tertiary qualified with a Buying/Merchandising degree (or similar)
* Exceptional written and verbal communication and people skills
* Exceptional time management and organisation skills with a strong ability to multitask conflicting priorities
* High attention to detail and analytical skills
* Advanced skills in MS Excel essential
* Passion for footwear and up to date knowledge of current trends
