**Position Summary:**
The Associate Talent Buyer will book club level shows as well as assist in the booking of shows at the theatre and arena level in a specified region. This position has the ultimate responsibility for the execution of all aspects of their shows, including the tracking of ticketing, marketing, contracts, production, and other show related aspects. The Jr. talent Buyer will be expected to work collaboratively with venue staff executing the aforementioned duties. They will consult with more senior Talent Buyers when necessary.
An Associate Talent Buyer should have prior experience with creating offers and executing theatre level events. They will be expected to proactively develop their experience in all aspects of the job as described.
**Essential Functions:**
* Artist Research- tour history, market relevance, product release (included sales and media tracking), music industry trends.
* Navigate AEG Live's show database in order to build offers and confirm shows in the system.
* Development of agency contacts and relationships - collecting artists availability.
* Negotiate offers/ contracts with agents through the confirmation of shows.
* Supervision of show marketing plans, on-sale dates, sales progress & production through show completion.
* Manage show budgets, track ticket sales, and show settlements. Provide support to finance team by reviewing settlement sheets an tracking payments.
* Generate financial and ticketing reports as needed.
* Provide support to Regional VP or Sr. Talent Buyer on specified projects and events.
**Required Qualifications:**
* A minimum education level of: BA/BS Degree (4-year) (In Marketing, Public Relations or related field or equivalent experience preferred)
* 2-4 years of related work experience - Prior music industry experience preferred
* Must have flexible hours including nights and weekends
* Strong verbal and written communication preferred
* Ability to provide leadership, engage in positive interaction with agents, staff, prioritize, delegate, and strong follow-up preferred
* Ability to multi-task, detail oriented, work well in a fast pace environment preferred
