Optimizes blog posts with primary and secondary keywords, as well as meta descriptions for improved search visibility. Refreshes and repurposes old blog content on the company's website to maintain relevance and search ranking. Monitors industry trends and topics, and seasonal events for timely blog content opportunities.
Analyzes traffic and keywords using search engine optimization tools to inform content optimization. Tracks and documents updates made to blog content for performance evaluation and improvement. Handle guest blog inquiries and write occasional press articles. Coordinates with the marketing team to adjust copy for advertising campaigns based on keyword research. Assists in other marketing projects, and aids in all marketing programs and product launches. Requirements & Skills: Possess a Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field. Have 5+ years of experience in SEO and content management. Demonstrate strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset. Be able to problem-solve, multitask, and take initiative. Possess a strong understanding of SEO best practices and the ability to implement them. Adequate knowledge of platforms and tools such as WordPress, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, and CRM systems. Demonstrate strong project management and proofing skills. Experience in the event industry or similar B2B market is a plus.
Position Details: This is a full-time remote position. Typical Marketing hours are Monday - Friday 8 AM- 4:30 PM. This position is open to applicants who can work on Eastern Standard Time . our Headquarters is in Stoughton, Massachusetts. Flexibility to travel to various events for onboarding purposes, and occasional attendance at our internal team building events held near our Stoughton, MA office is strongly encouraged.
