Job Summary

Responsible for leading strategic change by providing operational excellence to the Company. Demonstrates the flexibility to anticipate and direct priorities and results expected from a variety of internal and external constituencies. Manages vendors and external consultants as required to produce specialty work products. Develops, outlines, writes and delivers business processes and strategy proposals. Directs or supports multiple project teams and/or provides ownership and high-value solutions to the Company. Provides leadership and direction for diverse and complex functions. Contributes to the development of the organization's business strategy. Interprets business strategy and develops organizational objectives to align with this strategy. Supports multiple divisions to reach company and division operational objectives.

Job Description

Core Responsibilities

Solves complex business issues through process improvement or strategic planning.

Improves field force, engineering staff and customer service effectiveness through work force management and process optimization.

Identifies complex business issues and recommends value added solutions.

Directs the Excellence in Operations (XOC's) strategic planning efforts.

Integrates business solutions with technology innovations.

Aligns stakeholders across XOC and XPM functions to a comprehensive strategy and informs the long-term tools strategy

Supports development of tools strategy with internal product owners

Manages large-scale process improvement programs, including logistics planning, scheduling, communications and change management.

Reviews industry trends in utility operations including advances in technology and the resulting impact on managing business.

Creates business operations capability, leveraging shared support groups.

Develops a pipeline of technical expertise that will be required to meet long-term business goals.

Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.

Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.

Minimum Requirements

Experience in NOC or XOC operations

5-10 years leadership experience or high-level individual contributor (strategy and implementation focused)

Great team building and collaboration skills

Experience in leading large programs

Must be able to lead through influence

Education

Bachelor's Degree

While possessing the stated degree is preferred, Comcast also may consider applicants who hold some combination of coursework and experience, or who have extensive related professional experience.

Salary:

National Pay Range: $107,871.65 USD-$252,824.18 USD

Comcast intends to offer the selected candidate base pay within this range, dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience.

Most sales positions are eligible for a Commission under the terms of an applicable plan, while most non-sales positions are eligible for a Bonus.
