Responsibilities
This position will plan out features, components, and interfaces for mobile and desktop applications
Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows, wireframes, and sitemaps
Create original graphic designs including images, sketches, and tables and other visuals
Design graphic user interface elements, like menus, tabs, and widgets
Develop UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how the applications will look and function
Identify and troubleshoot UX problems
Play a key role in product definition by taking responsibility for visual designs based on product needs and requirements
Create and adhere to style standards on fonts, color schemes and images
Qualifications
Strong experience as a UI/UX designer or similar role
Strong sense of visual style and feel using spacing, typography, and color
Portfolio of design projects and interface work showing attention to detail and a high level of polish
Experience working with Figma, as well as sketch, Adobe products, and other design suites
It Would Also Be Nice To Have Experience In
Front-end development including experience with bootstrap, tailwind and/or other front-end CSS frameworks
UX involving data visualization
Highly Desirable
Enjoy working hard on complicated technical problems
Able to work individually and as part of a team
Takes initiative and able to work independently
Able to take and give feedback well
Works well with product managers and engineers
Excellent communication skills
