Sodexo is seeking an experienced **Food Operations Manager 3** at T **he University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center** , a 750-bed hospital renowned for its research located in **Dallas, TX** .
The Food Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing retail operations, managing food costs/budgets, conducting new employee trainings, and driving employee engagement while maintaining the highest level of patient and guest satisfaction. **Prior retail management experience managing a high-volume is preferred.**
**The successful candidate will:**
+ evaluate and develop service levels for the overall Patient Services Program targeted to exceed patient and customer satisfaction;
+ coordinate department safety and sanitation
+ ensure operating standards meet and exceed benchmarks
+ engage with employees and promote an inclusive culture
+ rounding with patients and nurses to promote and improve patient satisfaction
**We are looking for candidates who have:**
+ management experience in the food service industry
+ experience leading a team in a kitchen environment and enforcing safety & sanitation protocols
+ natural ability to lead and build teams and foster engagement
+ demonstrate working knowledge of automated food inventory, ordering, production and management systems as well as menu graphics programs.

**Qualifications & Requirements**
Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
Basic Management Experience - 3 years
Basic Functional Experience - 3 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
