This role will analyze data and advise the Brand President on using financial information to make strategic decisions about the company’s future. The FP & A Director will also take a hands-on approach to all aspects of Huddle House’s finances. Responsibilities Include: Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A):
· Develop and implement financial strategies, plans, and budgets.
· Conduct financial analysis, forecasting, and modeling to support decision-making.
· Partner with cross-functional teams to identify and drive financial improvements and efficiencies
Financial Reporting:
· Prepare and present accurate and timely financial statements and reports.
Risk Management:
· Identify and assess financial risks and implement strategies to mitigate them.
Strategic Financial Leadership:
· Provide financial insights and guidance to support strategic decision-making.
· Collaborate with other executives to align financial goals with overall business objectives.
Cost Management:
· Implement cost-control measures and efficiency improvements.
· Monitor and analyze financial performance against budget and KPIs.
Compliance and Ethics:
· Ensure compliance with financial regulations, accounting standards, and ethical practices.
Qualifications and Skills · Extensive experience in financial management, with a track record of progressively responsible roles.
· Ability to think strategically and align financial strategies with overall business objectives.
· Experience in a leadership position within a finance department.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
· Proven leadership skills with the ability to lead and develop a high-performing finance team.
Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
MBA or advanced degree in finance preferred.
Restaurant or retail experience is required for consideration.
Commitment to high ethical standards and integrity in financial management.
