Senior Desktop Support Analyst

Responsibilities
As a Senior Desktop Support Analyst, qualified candidates will serve as Level 2 support for PC Help Desk issues. They will be charged with ensuring issues are solved the first time and in a timely manner by monitoring, analyzing, and evaluating the performance of Help Desk resources.
The Senior Desktop Support Analyst will develop and maintain our managed desktop software environment. The candidate must be prepared to be in charge of creating, testing, and deploying workstation images and software packages. Candidates with extensive knowledge of software packaging and deployment would be highly considered.
Resposibilities include but are not limited to:
This position plays a role in all facets of desktop management, including software distribution, security, and asset management.
Prioritization of issues
Manage projects throughout their lifecycle
Provide reports to management on Help Desk activity
Train end-users and provide support for Help Desk Analysts
Travel of 20–30%
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years relevant experience or related degree
Must have experience working in WAN environment, providing end-user support, Installation, and repair of hardware and software.
Superior customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills
Mastery knowledge of Microsoft operating systems (Windows 10+)
Advanced knowledge of data networking, LAN, and WAN concepts
Advanced knowledge of systems security and account provisioning
Proven analytical and problem-solving skills
Highly self-motivated and directed
Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related degree
Desired certifications: MCSA, GIAC
Experience with Microsoft SCCM
Experience with Intune Endpoint Manager
Experience with Virtual Desktops
Experience using AD/Group Policy to manage a multisite network
Experience with PowerShell, VBScript, and task automation through scripting.
Engineering industry experience a plus
