TEAM OVERVIEW:
The DIA team in GIS is a dynamic group that leverages data analysis, visualization, and application development to drive business insights. They utilize cutting-edge technologies to transform raw data into actionable information, enabling informed decision-making and process optimization. Joining this team offers the opportunity to work on exciting projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to driving strategic initiatives through data-driven solutions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supports ad-hoc statistical and data mining analysis, using statistical tools like R, Python, Unix.
Interfaces with internal customers for requirements analysis and compiles data for scheduled or special reports and analysis
Supports project teams to develop analytical models, algorithms and automated processes, applying SQL understanding and PHP or Python programming, to cleanse, integrate and evaluate large datasets.
Supports the design and development of program methods, processes and systems to consolidate and analyze structured and unstructured, diverse "big data" sources
Supports the timely development of products for manufacturing and process information by applying sophisticated data analytics
TECHNICAL SKILLS:
Programming skills is Python with knowledge of common libraries like Scikit, numpy, pandas, mathplotlib, keras, tensorflow etc
Good knowledge in statistics and deep understanding on ML algorithms and their usage
Knowledge of common Machine Learning techniques related to Time series, Regression, Classification, Clustering, NLP etc.
Knowledge of visualization tools like Tableau, AngularJ, R-Shiny with libraries to effectively communicate the results/inferences derived out of data science models
REQUIREMENTS/EDUCATION:
Bachelor’s in Engineering or Computer Science with at least 3.0 GPA
