Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Technical Accounting and SEC Reporting Manager with 5-10+ years of relevant experience in SEC and technical accounting. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in a public accounting firm, possess a CPA, and have a strong background in Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A). The candidate will be responsible for managing SEC reporting, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing technical accounting guidance.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the preparation and review of SEC filings, including 10-Ks, 10-Qs, and other required disclosures.
Ensure compliance with GAAP and SEC regulations.
Provide technical accounting guidance on complex transactions, including M&A activities.
Oversee the implementation of new accounting standards and updates.
Collaborate with external auditors and manage audit processes.
Develop and maintain internal controls over financial reporting.
Prepare technical accounting memos and documentation.
Support the finance team with special projects and ad-hoc reporting requests.
Qualifications:
CPA required.
5-10+ years of relevant SEC and technical accounting experience.
3-5 years of experience in a public accounting firm preferred.
Strong M&A experience.
In-depth knowledge of GAAP, SEC regulations, and financial reporting.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
