What You Will be Doing to Make a Difference....
Manage a small caseload of clients who are in search of employment
Match job responsibilities with clients' skills and experience
Research internet, newspapers and other resources for job leads for clients
Develop a working relationship with local employers who are willing to hire our clients
Teach key vocational/interviewing skills such as resume building, interview preparation, communication etc.
Attend job fairs and conferences where suitable contacts can be made
Track each clients individual career tracks and progress
Provide on-site support for our clients' as they learn navigate the job search process and learn the responsibilities of each role they express
Learn and demonstrate respect for the roles of other agencies (Sheriff's Department, Parole, Probation, etc.) at your site; our job is to be a resource to these other agencies
Respect boundaries between treatment and security

Requirements
Qualifications/Credentials Bachelor's degree in Education, Rehabilitative Counseling, Counseling or Human Services required
Minimum of 2 years teaching or counseling experience required
Expected to be familiar with local resources and model pro-social behavior
Valid MA driver's license with acceptable driving record and current proof of insurance
Acceptable CORI and SORI background record check as required by program
