Project Manager-Senior-Information Services Regional Strategic Projects
Leads strategic system projects ranging from moderately to highly complex which typically encompass multiple applications and business areas to successful and timely completion of the project(s) scope within budget. This role will serve as a liaison between Informatics and Information Services and the Design and Construction individuals/teams working alongside regional operations stakeholders and others. Provides administrative decision making, leadership and planning for IU Health's business and clinical projects. Provides day-to-day coordination, communications, issue/resolution, and financial management related to the specific projects. Oversees resources assigned to the project and must be familiar with the project goals, scope, and objectives, as well as the role and function of each team member in order to effectively coordinate the activities of the team. Facilitates current and future state business processes, requirements, elicitation, solutions and development and test management.
The Information Services Project Manager - Senior may be assigned project(s) to manage directly and may also be the lead Project Manager to guide, delegate, and mentor Project Manager(s) and/or Project Coordinators. Experience working on complex design and construction and/or within large healthcare organizations is desirable and applicants with Construction Management, Facilities/Property Management, Engineering/Design, and/or Information Technology project management or similar backgrounds are encouraged to apply.

REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
5-7 years of relevant experience.
PMP (Project Management Process) certification is required or requirement to attain within 12 months.
Required experience with enterprise PPM (Project and Portfolio Management) tools.
Strong working skills with MS Office tools such as MS Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Vizio etc. is required.
Required experience with contractor and vendor management.
Requires a demonstrated fundamental understanding of project accounting and financial management.
Requires an understanding of the Information Management principles, IT processes, SDLC, architecture and technologies adopted by an organization.
Experience in solution scoping, business case development and creation of TCO models is required.
