Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) for a 13-week contract position. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in a clinical setting and be committed to providing exceptional patient care under the direction of a physician.
Key Responsibilities :
- Assist providers in the administration of patient care in assigned clinical areas.
- Support patient examinations, procedures, diagnostic studies, treatment, and dressing changes.
- Perform general administrative duties in accordance with TJC, CLIA, HIPAA, NCQA, and government standards, as well as company policies and procedures.
- Ensure all patient care is conducted under the direction of a physician and within the scope of a medical assistant.
Qualifications:
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) credential.
- Minimum of 2 years of current experience as a medical assistant in a clinical setting.
- Strong understanding of clinical and administrative procedures.
- Familiarity with TJC, CLIA, HIPAA, NCQA standards, and government regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
