Employment Litigation Of Counsel

A law firm in San Diego is seeking an experienced Employment Litigation Of Counsel with 9+ years of experience to handle a variety of complex employment-related lawsuits and provide strategic counsel to employers on labor law matters.
Duties:
Defend and litigate lawsuits involving a wide range of employment-related claims and agency charges.
Advise, counsel, and train employers on various employment and labor law issues.
Represent employers in court, arbitration, administrative agencies, and mediations in employment matters, including class/collective actions, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage-and-hour disputes, contract disputes, employment torts, and non-compete cases.
Preferably handle Class Action/ PAGA (Private Attorneys General Act) cases.
Supervise and manage associate attorneys and paralegals, including delegating assignments and providing constructive feedback.
Maintain an in-depth understanding of current agency procedures at both state and federal levels.
Demonstrate excellent written and oral communication skills, including drafting legal documents and presenting arguments in court.
Pay meticulous attention to detail and uphold a commitment to legal excellence.
Manage multiple cases and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Exhibit strong organizational, time management, and project management skills.
Requirements:
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Admission to the California State Bar and in good standing.
9+ years of experience in employment litigation, with significant experience managing and leading litigation cases in a first-chair capacity.
Proven track record of handling complex employment disputes, including class actions and other high-stakes litigation matters.
Supervisory experience over associate attorneys and paralegals.
Comprehensive knowledge of employment and labor laws, regulations, and legal precedents.
Ability to effectively communicate legal strategies and advice to clients and colleagues.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to think strategically.
Proficiency in legal research, writing, and case management software.
Education and Certifications:
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
