Job Details
We are seeking an experienced Labor & Employment Attorney to join our dynamic legal team.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on complex labor and employment litigation matters, including wage & hour and class action.
Responsibilities:
Provide expert legal counsel on labor and employment-related matters, including but not limited to, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage and hour issues, ADA and FMLA issues.
Handle class action lawsuits, representing our clients in various legal proceedings.
Draft and review employment policies, handbooks, employment agreements, separation agreements, and other employment-related documents.
Conduct legal research and analysis on a wide range of labor and employment law issues.
Advise clients on changes in labor and employment laws and regulations and help them understand the potential impact on their businesses.
Develop legal strategies for handling labor and employment matters and represent clients in court, before administrative agencies, at arbitration, and in mediation.
Work collaboratively with other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to ensure efficient and effective case management.
Qualifications: Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in plaintiff employment litigation.
Must be licensed to practice law in the state of California.
Demonstrated knowledge of federal, state, and local labor and employment laws and regulations.
Excellent analytical, research, and writing skills.
Strong negotiation and advocacy skills.
Ability to handle multiple tasks, projects, and deadlines simultaneously.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, witnesses, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
A high degree of professional ethics and integrity.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
