Reporting to the President at Denk and Roche, Dalcassians Manufacturing has an onsite Estimator/Project Manager open position. We are seeking a detail-oriented individual with grit and determination to join our team. In this position, you will oversee financial budgets, coordinate contractors, and manage the construction process. You will also oversee organizing schedules, managing subcontractor buy-outs, and serving as the point-of-contact for the customer. This is not a remote position . Candidate MUST LIVE WITHIN COMMUTING DISTANCE. No Relocation Assistance provided if out of state.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
Estimator
Estimating on selected projects by reviewing blueprints and drawings, do take offs, receive estimates/pricing proposals, and other construction documents to provide detailed estimates for bidding construction projects.
Review project documents and include anything that falls within the scope of the project.
Incorporate General Contractor scope sheets and project schedules.
Communicate with Customers during the bid process to ensure their expectations are being met.
Get project specific pricing from our material vendors and equipment rental vendors.
Provide detailed information on specialty products for review.
Review the project with our Construction Manager/Sales Manager and incorporate any necessary changes.
Participate in finalizing the contract negotiations.
Other duties as assigned.
Project Manager Coordinate with GCs, Architects, Engineers, and panel suppliers to re-coordinate and set-up jobs before construction begins.
Follow up with change orders and reprice out new drawings as needed.
Update QuickBooks, Plexxis, PO's and work order tickets as needed.
Co-ordinate with field to resolve any issues.
Provide necessary information to our customer including but not limited to; Schedule of Values, Submittals/Product Data, LEAD documentation, Shop Drawings, BIM Requirement, or any items requested by the Customer.
Prepare project budgets, production reports, material lists and any relevant project scope documents.
Coordinate with the Purchaser on the project specific requirements and vendors and assist with final buyouts.
Facilitate an internal kick-off meeting to review project documents and scope to ensure the Team has a good understating of the project requirements, scope, and expectations for all Team members.
Manage the change order process by generating and converting requests into executed change orders.
Manage the job cost by evaluating and accessing weekly progress.
Prepare projections of completed work and assist in the accounting billing and collections to ensure timely payment.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or related field (preferred).
Construction estimating: 5+ years (required).
Proven experience in construction estimating and project management.
Proficiency in construction estimating software. Experience with Procore, Blue Beam, OST, Quickbid, QuickBooks and Plexxis.
Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and processes.
Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and other construction documents.
Strong negotiation skills to secure competitive pricing from subcontractors and suppliers.
High level of comfort and experience using Microsoft Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, etc.).
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Pay Range: $85,000 to $100,000
