The Corporate Project Manager reports directly to the Vice President of Engineering and Technology. The position is a staff role in the corporate office that supports all of Eagle Materials business units for items that related to the following:

Education
Accredited Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering - preference to be in one of the following fields
Mechanical
Chemical
Electrical
Industrial
Mining
Desired Work Experience and Specific Skill Set Minimum ten (10) years' experience in managing and leading capital projects in the heavy industrial manufacturing area.
Demonstrated responsibility in management and execution of projects greater than 5 million dollars.
Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Contract negotiations and management.
Schedule development and management.
Capital cost estimating (Engineering, Equipment and Construction).
Knowledge of MSHA/OSHA safety standards.
Knowledge of applicable design and building codes.
General process understanding of heavy industrial manufacturing equipment.
General understanding of environmental compliance standards (Air, water, etc.).
General understanding of construction specifications.
Multi-discipline experience related to: Geotech, Electrical, Controls, Civil, Mechanical.
Experience in reviewing work products in 2D and 3D.
Construction management and commissioning
Project justification development.
Risk management.
Capital project development (concept, justification, scope of work, design, procurement, construction, commissioning)
Demonstrated communication skills. (Status reporting, meeting facilitating, action lists, etc.)
Highly organized and self-directed.
