As a Vice President, Portfolio Operations, you will:
Support value creation within our portfolio companies, and new investment opportunities.
Support our global underwriting and portfolio management / monitoring / governance processes.
Develop independent relationships and be able to thoroughly evaluate opportunities and risks within the portfolio, have strong communication skills, and have excellent quantitative analytical capabilities.

What we look for:
Undergraduate degree, in accounting, finance or similar, fromaleading institution.
Ideally 7+ years total work experience.
Preferred certifiedaccountant with 3+years experience of transaction support services (ideally in a private equity context).
Further experience in a private equity portfolio support group, consultancy, service delivery or operational role with PE facing responsibilities.
Client service experience and ability to present and communicate clearly.
Solid analytical skills and awareness of the mechanics of financial statements and enterprise value within an M&A context.
Chicago office based. Regular US-wide travel, as needed.
Strong work ethic coupled with intellectual enthusiasm and creativity.
Appropriate cultural fit to Baird Capital and with the people skills to appropriately/positively engage internally, with portfolio company executive teams and with third party service partners.
