What you bring to the table: All of our cloud engineers need the following skills: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field OR 4 additional years of experience in lieu of a degree.

Proven experience as a Cloud Engineer or similar role.

Proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, Oracle, or Google Cloud.

Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.

Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

A TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance.

For this particular role, you will also need: 12+ years of solid software engineering experience.

Experience managing and optimizing DevOps practices

In-depth understanding of DevOps principles, tools, and methodologies

Experience with CI/CD processes for automation

Experience working in C2S (AWS), and using EC2, S3, ECS, Fargate and others

Experience with Java, Bash Scripting, Python

Experience with agile development mehtodologies

These are important skills to have, but not necessarily mandatory: Understanding of distributed systems

AWS Solutions Architect Associate or similar.
