2HB Incorporated is seeking a Software Engineer in order to support its government customer in Annapolis Junction, MD. The team has an exciting opportunity for a seasoned Cloud Software Engineer to join our Cloud Enabling Services team supporting government operations. This software engineer should be able to perform the following tasks:
Implement, tests, and operates advanced software security techniques in compliance with technical reference architecture
Performs on-going security testing and code review to improve software security
Troubleshoots and debugs issues that arise
Provides engineering designs for new software solutions to help mitigate security vulnerabilities
Contributes to all levels of the architecture and maintains technical documentation
Consults team members on secure coding practices. Develops a familiarity with new tools and best practices
Position Requirements:
Active TS/SCI security clearance with current polygraph required
At least eight (8) years of experience in software development/engineering, including requirements analysis, software development, installation, integration, evaluation, enhancement, maintenance, testing, and problem diagnosis/resolution
Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required
Five (5) years of additional software engineering experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree
Willingness to be a committer/contributor to open source applications
Experience in Java programming for distributed systems, that includes networking and multi-threading
A Hadoop/Cloud Developer Certification is required
Experience with the following skills is highly desired:
JavaScript/React/Angular/K8
UI work as well
