Sr Manager Revenue Integrity/Medical Coder - ( 241674 )
Responsible for revenue integrity and related central business office functions for; Temple University Hospital, Fox Chase Cancer Center, Jeanes Hospital and TUH Episcopal. Formulates procedures, organizes staff, provides training and counseling, interfaces with third party payers and develops goals. Provides business, technical and project management expertise to guide cross-departmental workgroups to improve billing and collections throughout the Health System. Provide coverage and support to the Administrative Director.
Education
Bachelors Degree: Finance or related field (Required)
Masters Degree : in Finance or Health Administration (Preferred)
Experience
7 Years experience in supervisory role in hospital based patient accounting, patient registration, and/or patient billing (Required)
General Experience and knowledge of third party billing registration and billing protocols (Required)
General Experience in coding and thorough understanding of billing compliance with government programs specifically the assignment of Revenue Codes, CPT codes and HCPCS codes. (Required)
General Experience with major hospital billing and registration/billing protocols (Preferred)
