Purpose
Responsible for data collection, analysis, and reporting related to Bluefire's insurance products.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Use SQL, R, and related tools for data collection, summarization, and analysis.
Develop support tables, views, and data structures to aid and guide analysis and reporting for other areas within Bluefire, audit work, and reinsurer requests.
Develop and automate reporting, and related tools to support Bluefire's reporting and analysis needs.
Maintain and Develop reconciliation and validation for Bluefire's data and reporting.
Refine and standardize existing excel templates, queries, data structures, and data visualizations
Support general Actuarial, Data, Strategy, & Product needs
Preferred Skills
Bachelors degree in Data Science, Actuarial, Statistics, or a related field
Experience with a statistical software, SQL and/or R, data visualization software, BBA and other Microsoft products to support the Actuarial Team
Ability to work independently, and with staff and peers in other locations
Insurance, or related industry, experience desired, but not required
