We are seeking a talented data analyst who will be excited to work with large and complex data sources to deliver comprehensive, high - performing data visualizations using the newest cloud-based tools .

To be successful on our team you will need to understand the importance of accuracy, reliability and performance in the content we build . You will build a relationship with a variety of business customers , identify and mitigate ambiguities in requirements, design data models that are efficient and scalable and earn the reputation as a subject matter expert in the creation of critical dashboards.

As you grow into your role as a member of our Data Analytics team, you will be ask ed to provide leadership, guidance and support to colleagues throughout the JDI group of companies . You will model best practices in the solutions you build, setting an example for data analysts throughout the company . You will ensure that appropriate design patterns and development principles are consistently applied across projects.

The ideal candidate is independent, proactive, earns trust, able to balance competing priorities, and is a strong communicator .

Your Focus:

Designing, developing, and implementing scalable, high-performing data visualizations in tools such as Power BI and Tableau.

C lean ing and transform ing data, shaping it into data models conducive to data analytics.

Collaborat ing with stakeholders to define key measurements necessary to gauge the progress and success of business initiatives .

Communicating and translating technical concepts into easy-to-understand language for our business customers andstakeholders.

Mentoring and guiding Data Analysts throughout the company; aiding as they overcome obstacles in building their own visualizations.

Debugging and troubleshooting reported issues in data visualizations.

Ensure policies and best practices are communicated and followed throughout our data analytics community.

You have:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT or related field

1 - 5 yr. experience in data analytics and building visualizations.

Experience building complex data visualizations in Power BI , Tableau or a similar platform.

Experience designing Data Models , understanding when to use different design patterns.

Experience working with customers and delivering solutions to meet their business needs.

Nice to have:

Experience developing solutions using Microsoft Azure Cloud services (Analogous experience with AWS or GCPis alsoconsidered an asset)

Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst Associate Certification.

Proficiency in SQL.
