Reports to: Joel Tyree XPEL, Inc. (Nasdaq: XPEL), a leading supplier of automotive paintprotection films, window films, ceramic coatings and commercial/residentialflat glass film, is currently seeking an Accounting Manager forits San Antonio, TX corporate headquarters.
XPEL is a multi-national corporation that isunique in that all our accounting and finance tasks are handled from ourgrowing headquarters in San Antonio, Texas. We are an SEC registrantand a large accelerated filer that is growing! We have a small teamthat has a lot of fun (yes – even as accountants!) and takes a lot of pridein producing a top-notch product every day. The Accounting Manager willassist with financial statement preparation, annual control documentation andtesting, assist with international statutory/benefit plan audits, andperiodic special projects. We actively promote from within and have addedmany opportunities in recent years as our business has grown, including thisposition.

About us: We are seeking a leader thathas a strong accounting background and wants to help manage our multiple annual/quarterlydeadlines. This position is designed for growth! It will offer theright candidate plenty of room to work independently, but they will also beactively supported by the Director of Financial Reporting and theController.
Core Duties
• Serve as a primary point of contact for multiple audits and reviewsthroughout the year;
• Assist with annual SOX compliance work;
• Prepare and review entries for the EOM close process, as necessary;
• Assist in the preparation of all SEC filings;
• Perform detailed review of staff-prepared audit workpapers;
• Assist with accounting work related to acquisitions;
• Work closely with the multiple internal teams to ensure ongoing compliancewith internal controls and assist withaudits as needed;
• Develop training documents for departmental tasks to facilitate crosstraining and increase ease of task transitions;
• Other periodic special projects as they arise; and
• Other duties as assigned
The right candidate will possess…
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required; CPA strongly preferred; minimum 4years’ progressive accounting experience with exposure to the areas notedabove
• Experience managing a team of at least two professionals (preferred but notrequired)
• Excellent analytical, creative problem solving, organizational, and projectmanagement skills
• Experience with SOX compliance (preferred but not required)
• Strong sense of task-ownership and curiosity to learn new skills
• Career progression that shows initiative to be an active problem solver;ability to identify needs, communicate with key team members, and implementprocess improvements
• Experience with consolidated financial statements in a publicly tradedcompany preferred
• Strongadvanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel is mandatory
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision; comfortablesolving daily problems and bringing resolution without additional guidance
• Strong desire to work in a rapidly growing and complex organization and readyto embrace the fast pace needed to succeed and meet deadlines, includingadditional hours at times
• Positive attitude, sense of humor and ability to re-prioritize tasksquickly
• Proven ability to excel in a team environment
