We are seeking a dynamic field sales manager to join our growing North American sales team. This individual will be someone who can work in a fast-paced environment, is a self-starter with impeccable attention to detail, along with strong written and oral communication skills. This focused field sales manager will hire, train, and supervise a team of account executives. The ideal person will demonstrate an exceptional ability to lead and coach a team in a professional manner. They will be responsible for growing new customer relationships as well as fostering existing relationships. They will drive the field sales strategy for Metrasens ferromagnetic detection systems with their team of account executives. Their responsibilities will include all aspects of managing a sales team as defined below:

SPECIFIC DUTIES, ACTIVITIES, AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO :

Responsible for driving field sales team performance of selling equipment and/or services to existing and potential customers.

Implements and executes the annual sales goals as defined by the executive team, regularly reviewing sales figures and progress with their team.

Sets sales targets and quotas for the field sales team.

Ensures field sales team meets or exceeds sales objectives.

Establishes techniques to maximize productivity and efficiency.

Holds regular field sales team meetings to share expectations, ideas, and best practices.

Will take part in business meetings or calls when negotiating larger opportunities.

Heads onboarding and on-the-job training for new account executives.

Participating in trade exhibitions/conferences.

Have an intimate understanding of the company’s products/services and keep current with the latest industry trends and news.

Comply with and ensure department compliance with Metrasens’ health, safety, and environmental policies.

Comply with all applicable U.S. export control and security regulations.

Other duties as required.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Education

Bachelor’s Degree required or equivalent work experience.

Experience:

5-7 years of experience and demonstrated success in managing a field sales team. Experience selling into the education, state/local government, or healthcare markets is preferred but not required.

Have extensive experience closing new business.

Experience selling high-technology equipment.

Be able to handle high-pressure situations and work in a target-oriented environment.

Extensive experience working in a CRM like SFDC.

Experience managing a complex sale process.

Self-starter with strong communication and interpersonal skills, in person and in a virtual environment.

Knowledge/Skills:

Great leadership skills with a coaching mindset

Self-motivated, data-driven, and proactive approach to managing a sales team.

Ability to establish and maintain a professional relationship with customers/prospects.

Excellent phone, in-person, and written communication skills

Ability to present information in front of a large group.

Supervises:

Team of Account Executives

PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:

Will be required to travel domestically on average up to 75%

Ability to think strategically and develop strategic plans.

Ability to work and lead in a team environment.

Deal with different personalities and overcome communication barriers

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

The Field Sales Manager's primary workstation will be in a home office setting, located within their assigned region of the US. The individual will travel frequently with their team of account executives, with a majority of their time being spent at a customer and/or prospects’ office or facility.

TX, IL, MO, KS (Relocation not available)

COMPENSATION:

OTE $175,000 + commensurate with work experience.
