Responsibilities :
· Ensure work practices promote safety and exceed security mandates.
· Develop, recommend, and implement work process and procedure improvements.
· Provide solutions in warehousing, inventory control & analysis, transportation, and technical support.
· Manage Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) within budgetary guidance.
· Prepare documents according to export requirements: Certificate of Origin, Manifests, BOLs, MAWBs, and DGD’s.
· Ensure compliant export procedures and AES (Automated Electronic System) filings.
· Hire, supervise, coach, train, and develop staff at various levels.
· Collaborate with teams to define, develop, and deploy strategic business improvements.
· Build collaborative working relationships across each business unit.
· Drive team performance based on metrics and data.
· Actively manage resources to deliver best-in-class business performance results.
· Contribute to P/L management; control costs, implement improvements, and use data to support decisions.
· Develop, maintain, and implement local operating procedures and work instructions.
Regular Shift/Schedule:
· Monday - Friday: 2:30p – 11:30p
· One Saturday per month: 7a - 3p (compensated and/or day in lieu offered)
Skills & Qualifications :
· BA/BS preferred.
· Detail oriented with excellent verbal, written, and follow-up communication skills.
· Effective when using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
· 1+ years’ experience in air export and freight forwarding industry, required.
· Familiar with TSA, IACSSP, TAPA, or CCSF/P regulations, required .
· Experience with Dangerous Goods as regulated by IATA, IMO, and/or DOT, preferred.
· Familiarity with DOT and HazMat regulations, preferred.
