Responsibilities:
Sets vision for and leads department priorities.
Partners with Executive Director/Administrative Director in short and long range planning activities that align with the SHC operational plan, incorporate innovation and new technologies and promote the individual needs of each business unit.
Acts in an advisory role to all departments, programs, staff and leaders
Develops an Annual Report.
Leads recruiting, onboarding and hosting of events ensuring adequate staffing levels to support daily operations.
Leads Quality and Compliance programs ensuring safe, best in class care for patients, staff and visitors as applicable.
Oversees contract administration needs including initiation, vendor performance and financial oversight.
Partners with Business Operations and Strategic Initiatives (“BOSI”) & leadership to prepare budgets, monitor FTE variances, track financial outcomes and make recommendations.
Implements, oversees and continuously improves systems, processes and standard work to drive the successful management of operations
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Health Administration, or any related field
Experience developing a diverse portfolio of programs and projects across Healthcare/Hospital/Medical facility operations
Basic knowledge of project management methodologies to lead project teams; write in a clear and understandable manner.
Understands extremely complex verbal or written instructions.
Must be well organized and systematic in work processes, possess excellent communication and collaboration skills; ability to multi-task and handle multiple priorities while managing aggressive deadlines.
Ability to delegate assignments and share decision-making with team members as appropriate.
Must have strong leadership skills and be able to lead project teams, exercising strong interpersonal skills.
Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
Ability to develop, implement and evaluate efficient and cost-effective methods for construction, repair and/or maintenance projects as applicable
Ability to establish the strategic direction and business plans for a functional group
Ability to manage complex projects and resources (people, costs, time)
