Position Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Sales to lead our sales team and drive revenue growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales management, excellent leadership skills, and a deep understanding of the kitchen remodeling industry. This role involves developing and executing sales strategies, managing a team of sales professionals, and building strong relationships with clients and partners.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy and Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve company revenue goals. Analyze market trends and identify opportunities for growth.
Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team. Set performance goals, provide ongoing coaching, and conduct regular performance reviews to ensure team success.
Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, contractors, and partners. Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and address any issues promptly.
Revenue Growth: Drive revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities, expanding the customer base, and increasing sales to existing clients.
Marketing Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team to develop and execute effective marketing campaigns and sales promotions. Provide insights and feedback to enhance marketing strategies.
Sales Operations: Oversee the sales pipeline, forecast sales, and report on sales performance. Implement and optimize sales processes and tools to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Budget Management: Develop and manage the sales budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources to achieve sales targets.
Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of 3-10 years of sales experience, with at least 1-5 years in a leadership role within the kitchen remodeling or home improvement industry.
Leadership Skills: Proven track record of successfully managing and leading a sales team. Strong ability to inspire and motivate others.
Sales Acumen: Deep understanding of sales strategies, techniques, and tools. Excellent negotiation and closing skills.
Industry Knowledge: Comprehensive knowledge of the kitchen remodeling industry, including products, trends, and competitors.
Communication Skills: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills. Ability to present and articulate ideas effectively.
Customer Focus: Demonstrated commitment to providing exceptional customer service and building long-term relationships.
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make informed decisions.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
