In DAIS (DAIS Customer Solutions Engineering), GPUs are being applied to help solve today’s most complex and challenging problems through technologies such as AI, media and media analytics, and 3D rendering. Across technology segments, such as high-performance computing (HPC) and visual cloud computing, these new use cases require a different type of computational horsepower to fuel their advanced capabilities. Bringing the GPU into the data center environment helps meet rising requirements for elevated computational demands and always-growing mountains of data.

As a GPU Software Development Engineer, you will develop and/or validates software that enables Intel GPUs. The scope can span the entire stack, from firmware and device drivers through APIs and the application layer. In addition, the scope may also include the tools, infrastructure, and technologies necessary to develop, profile, optimize, and productize Intel GPUs or graphics/GPGPU software solutions.

The ideal candidate will have the following skills in addition to the qualifications listed below:

Working experience with OS concepts/RTOS.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, both technical and nontechnical.

Qualifications You must possess the minimum requirements noted below and minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Additional preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering and 6+ years of relevant experience.

6+ years of experience in C programming.

Preferred Qualifications:

Master's degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, California: $144,501.00-$217,311.00
