The Recruiter will handle the full cycle recruitment process including sourcing applicants, creating, and posting jobs, reviewing applications, conducting phone screens, and coordinating interviews between departments.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Source, screen, and monitor new applications, referrals, and the talent community to select qualified candidates for phone screening.
Schedule and conduct a high volume of phone screens every week for open positions.
Collaborate with departmental managers to understand the skills and competencies required for openings.
Maintain phone screen guides for every job description.
Develop and create job postings utilizing the official job descriptions.
Identify and implement efficient and effective recruiting methods based on job description and the needs of our organization.
Attend and participate in college and professional job fairs and recruitment events.
Coordinate and schedule interviews between departments.
Provide feedback and upload notes into the ATS platform after each phone screen.
Maintain rapport with candidates throughout the hiring process.
Collaborate with the hiring manager and Human Resources Manager during the offer process, identifying details of an offer including salary, start date, and other pertinent details.
Conduct background checks and employee eligibility verifications.
Conducts and coordinates new hire orientation virtually.
Create employment personnel files on SharePoint and virtually file new hire documents.
Performs other duties as assigned.
POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK:
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
TRAVEL:
This position requires less than 5% travel.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
Previous recruiting experience required.
Ability to prescreen and phone screen a high volume of applicants.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
Associate’s degree.
Talent Acquisition specialty certification is a plus.
Experience working with an ATS platform.
ADDITIONAL ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience working in a non-profit setting.
Experience with WorkDay.
TELECOMMUTING AND TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS:
This position is considered a remote position with full telecommuting privileges for anyone outside of a 50-mile radius of the corporate office. Employees who work from the corporate office may telecommute a minimum of 3 days a week in addition to an as-needed basis.
