Institute for Healthcare Improvement Director Education Operations Boston , Massachusetts Apply Now Reporting to the Sr. Director of Education Strategy, the Director ofOpen School Operations will partner with key staff across theorganization to serve as a leader and accountability driver. Thisposition will oversee the daily operations and strategic initiatives ofprojects within the Open School, ensuring alignment with customer needsand revenue targets while collaborating closely with senior leadershipto enhance and scale the platform in the global education market.Position Responsibilities:? Responsibilities include but are not limitedto the following: Education Operations for Open School Lead and overseeOpen School strategic projects with the support of a project team, whichincludes customer management, budget, working with IT to ensuretroubleshooting for our customers and improvement and support inexecution of Open School scale initiatives. Create and manage OpenSchool budget and forecast enrollment goals for courses. Analyze coursemetrics, identifying high and low performing courses, to create andcontribute recommendations to future planning. Co-Lead annual fiscalyear planning process with Senior Director of Education StrategyDevelop, maintain, and prioritize improvement on cross-educationalprocesses (e.g., scholarships, enrollment, discounts, standard work)Identify, establish, and report out on metrics and KPIs that promote,reinforce, and sustain operational excellence over time and prepareorganization for current and future business models Establish cleargoals that can be tracked and summarized over time; Ensure programs aredelivering on impact, reach, team vitality, and financial vitalityPartner with: o Finance to create business case for potential new OpenSchool partnerships o New Business team to manage contracts and criticalpartnerships o IT to ensure timely improvements and updates arecompleted o Operation functions across departments to contribute andmaintain consistency and communication channels surrounding organizationstrategy and objectives o Marketing to enhance marketability of OpenSchool o Other relevant departments and functions Organize and lead: oWeekly team meetings with IT, LMS Admin, Project Management, and CourseID (as needed) o Quarterly strategy and pipeline review processes forOpen School o Quarterly program reprojection process and escalatefinancial implications to o Monthly Sales meeting calls Manage monthlyupdates of visual management board Partnership Development for OpenSchool Strengthen partnerships with organizations looking to integratethe Open School platform into their education strategy. Explore needs,create business case, and oversee operations for partner collaborations.Contribute to strategic planning for scaling the Open School business.Discuss potential markets, analyze market viability, and estimate timeand expense for potential collaborations. Work with Sr. Director,Education Strategy, the Design and Development team, and Market Insightsto anticipate new IHI courses to put in market. Leadership Serve as achange agent who is comfortable with ambiguity and challenging thestatus quo Bring expertise or identify SME in support ofmulti-functional efforts in process improvement, data capture andanalysis, infrastructure support, tool ownership and compliance withprocedures, etc. Drive continuous improvement initiatives forcross-functional teams through the disciplined use of measurements,accountability, analysis, and discussion of process alternatives toarrive at best practices Work collaboratively with staff to overcomeorganizational inertia, individual resistance to change, or changesaturation Closely collaborate and partner with cross-functional teamsto execute on strategic initiatives globally and at scale
