Generically, what we're looking for in a candidate is:
Senior level Cisco Network Engineer with 5+ yrs of experience
Strong cisco network design, deployment, and documentation skills
Strong ability to self-manage, organize, and prioritize workload
Strong communication skills to negotiate work scope, apprise project team, and to resolve issues by involving others
Highly skilled with Cisco Switch Stacking, Layer2 (Trunk, LACP, STP design), Layer3 (BGP, SVI)
Able to make recommendations to Architect on design, and able to flex to use company standards or other best practices
Able to document implementation design and guide team through physical installation Strong implementation skills & experience Configuration according to best practices
System hardening according to Cisco guides
Specifically, they'll need to have the following skills/experience:
Cisco CCNP level experience for 5+ yrs Switch Stacking
Fiber interconnections (20-40K SMF, Local MMF)
LACP Port Channels
Strong hands-on understanding of subnetting and IP Address planning
BGP
L2 LACP trunks
/30 L3 SVI's for L3 BGP establishment
L2 Spanning Tree loop-free Design (prune appropriate VLANs on Fiber ring)
Palo Alto experience FW Rules
BGP configurations
