Job Summary
LanguageBird is seeking a dynamic and customer-driven Marketing Manager to direct all aspects of marketing operations, including development, production and maintenance of marketing communications, especially across social media channels, website, events, and outreach materials. The Marketing Manager will be responsible for protecting the brand voice and developing content that adheres to the established protocol for all customer-facing and internal communications. The Marketing Manager works closely with the school administration and the Admissions and Outreach Department.
Job responsibilities include:
Maintain priorities, schedules, and deadlines for marketing campaigns and initiatives.
Develop and maintain the marketing calendar ensuring it aligns to annual and seasonal marketing activities and business goals.
Manage the marketing budget and track spending and report on ROI of marketing activities.
Manage media contractors and ensure alignment with brand voice and marketing goals.
Create, implement, and track all social media advertising across Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn, and analyze media metrics and adjust strategies as needed.
Create and deploy monthly newsletters for targeted audiences (eg. students, parents, partners, etc.) to increase brand awareness and engagement and analyze metrics, adjusting as needed.
Create and/or oversee the production and posting of blog articles in alignment with the marketing calendar to increase brand awareness and engagement.
Oversee the content, design, and functionality of the LanguageBird website, ensuring SEO best practices are followed to enhance website traffic and engagement.
Develop and execute strategies to gather and curate client testimonials to then be used across marketing channels.
Manage the production of videos (e.g. meet the team, lifestyle, promo) to be included on the website and in social media advertising / channels.
Manage webinar-based presentations for prospective families, partners, affiliates.
Coordinate event management (e.g. conference attendance and exhibits, outreach events, etc.) to promote the brand and engage with selected communities.
Support other functional areas as needed with marketing-related tasks (eg. monthly email signatures, reports, presentations, specialized document creation and editing for internal/external purposes, etc.).
Ensure all marketing materials reflect the company's brand voice and messaging.

Other key qualifications: Must reside in and be eligible to work in the United States of America.
A bachelor's degree (master's degree preferred).
Minimum 4 years experience working in a marketing-related role.
Experience in the education industry preferred.
Knowledge of digital paid ads and SEO practices preferred.
Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook required.
Experience with Canva preferred.
Experience using a Customer Relationship Management System (preferably HubSpot)
Must be able to travel by air or motor vehicle to conferences, trainings, and meetings as needed/required.
