POSITION SUMMARY:

In close collaboration with the Chief Marketing Officer, Vice President of Marketing, and the Marketing Team, and guided by insights from the President of VillaSport, Vice President of Sales, Vice President of Member Experience and Vice President of Operations, the Marketing Director is tasked with the comprehensive planning, development, execution, and evaluation of all marketing initiatives for the VillaSport brand. The ideal candidate is a dynamic and innovative marketing strategist, adept at driving foot traffic to Brick-and-Mortar locations through both traditional and digital marketing channels including print, digital, on-site, and email marketing. They should possess exceptional organizational skills and a creative mindset, coupled with a strong analytical approach to decision-making, driven by data insights. This role demands a proactive leader, capable of thinking outside the conventional framework, to successfully promote and grow both established enterprises and emerging ventures.

TRAVEL:

Routine travel to club locations in CA, CO, ID, OR and TX required.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

$120,000 annually, plus bonus. Full-time hours.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Previous fitness center, gym or health club experience preferred.

Must be able to travel up to 50% of the time.

Experience driving foot traffic to Brick-and-Mortar locations through multiple marketing channels.

A demonstrated track record of innovative and strategic thinking in marketing, with a particular emphasis on creative and promotional conceptualization.

Be an intelligent, natural leader who has the right combination of experiences to market VillaSport as it grows.

Exceptional writing and editorial skills, with the ability to craft compelling marketing narratives and effective communications.

Advanced proficiency in essential business software including Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, with the capability to leverage these tools for effective marketing analysis and presentations.

Exceptional organizational and time-management abilities, enabling efficient coordination of multiple projects and deadlines.

Proactive and self-motivated, with a proven ability to independently drive projects to completion with minimal oversight.

Robust understanding and practical experience with web-based content management systems, with a preference for candidates possessing WordPress expertise.

Familiarity with email service provider software and a foundational knowledge of HTML, enhancing the ability to manage diverse digital marketing campaigns effectively.

Proven multitasking skills, underpinned by a meticulous attention to detail, ensuring the quality and accuracy of marketing initiatives.

A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field, or at least 4 years of relevant professional experience in a marketing leadership role.

This role demands a marketing professional who not only meets the technical and educational prerequisites but also brings a dynamic and analytical approach to marketing strategy, aligning with the overarching goals and vision of the VillaSport brand.
