Description & Requirements
The successful candidate will play a key role in a growing team of professionals who assist clients with services related to the entire grants management lifecycle. Our client organizations are commonly State and Local governments, nonprofit organizations, institutions of higher education, and healthcare entities that are recipients of federal funding. The nature and extent of the services provided to our Grants Management clients will vary, as will the individual career development and work opportunities for the successful candidate.
How You Will Contribute
Participate and support projects regarding Federal and State grant funding opportunities and other sources of targeted funding, grant, and regulatory compliance
Perform operational and financial assessments of client's grants-related compliance, systems, processes, policies, procedures, and internal controls
Research grant opportunities from government and non-government agencies
Review program expenditures for allowability
Work on a variety of financial, accounting, and compliance projects in various industries
Project management including planning, overseeing, and implementing consulting projects in the areas of grant writing, compliance, and financial reporting
Perform industry and technical research for funding opportunities and the development of new client solutions
Utilize technology and grants management systems to improve internal processes
We Are Looking For People With Forward Vision And
Aptitude to take care of and prioritize multiple client projects, including monitoring project time budgets and consistently meeting or exceeding agreed-upon target dates
Ability to professionally write and communicate provisions including but not limited to client funding proposals, meetings, internal meetings, and projects
Critical thinking techniques, combined with practical judgment, attention to detail, and strong analytical skills
Advanced computer skills and the propensity to learn new software related to the accounting function of an organization
Knowledge of how to communicate both up and downstream to team staff and exercise judgment in assessing client interactions
High attention to detail as well as strong analytical skills
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting or a related field
Preferred Qualifications
PMP, CPA, or CGMS certification or candidate
1 year or more of accounting or related field, grants management, grant writing, and/or grant consulting experience
