Job Description

The Product Marketing Manager will play a critical role in the development and execution of strategic marketing initiatives that drive increased product sales and customer engagement for our loitering munition systems business segment. In this role, the Product Marketing Manager will facilitate the implementation, management, and optimization of cross-channel marketing activities to support program capture efforts, go-to-market activities, and customer engagements. In addition, the Product Marketing Manager will conduct market and competitor analysis and drive messaging to support marketing activities.

This person can work remotely from anywhere in the US. However travel to the Southern CA office will be required two times per year for in person meetings and collaboration.

Position Responsibilities

Leads the strategic planning, execution, and evaluation of marketing and communications campaigns using an appropriate combination of internal and external resources to achieve business objectives

Manages internal and external contractors, vendors, logistics and budgets associated with campaigns and opportunities

Partners with the Business Development, Program Management, and Product Line Managers (PLMs) to identify market opportunities, understand customer requirements, and assess market growth segments

Develops, tracks and analyzes marketing KPIs to optimize campaign effectiveness

Leads the creation and implementation of external communication strategies and initiatives to deliver a cohesive marketing communications plan

Analyzes customers and competitors to identify gaps/opportunities within the marketplace

Collaborates with cross functional teams of internal and external stakeholders to transform ideas into reality

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Marketing and Communications or related is required or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience

Minimum 5 – 8 years' directly related experience

Experienced and knowledgeable in strategic product marketing concepts, processes and best practices

A proven track record in effective product storytelling with a strength in simplifying complex ideas into elegant messaging

Experience collaborating with Creative teams to inspire creative visuals

Ability to travel up to 15%

Strong organizational, analytical and project management skills, with the ability to balance multiple projects successfully and efficiently

Experienced and proficient with MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)

Preferred Additional Skills

Aerospace & Defense industry experience

Knowledge of loitering munitions market and competitors

Collaborative team player with a high degree of initiative, drive, accountability, judgment, flexibility, and customer service

Experienced professional with a full understanding of area of specialization and resolves a wide range of issues in creative ways

Displays strong initiative and drive to accomplish goals and meet company objectives

Takes ownership and responsibility for current and past work products

Is committed to learning from mistakes and driven to improve and enhance performance of oneself, others, and the company

Focuses on teamwork and puts the success of the team above one's own interests

The Salary Range For This Role Is

$79,040 - $118,560
