This position is not open to international candidates and does not offer relocation or per diem.
Audubon is currently seeking a Project Manager to be part of a project team headquartered in Waggaman LA. The Project Manager will manage projects and provide information and ideas for plant process improvements.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES :
Key Areas of Responsibility will include: Managing Expensing, Maintenance, Operations, and Capital projects as appropriate.
Demonstrating and being committed to the pursuit of safety leadership.
Working closely with the site leadership teams to ensure business culture is driven by company values.
Supporting continuous improvement initiatives through active participation, including identification of efficiency and quality improvements in work processes and problem solving.
Completing engineering designs and evaluations.
Evaluating and assisting with the employee Safety and Operations suggestions program.
Providing technical guidance for Administration, Environmental, Safety, Operations, and Maintenance.
Supervising and coordinating outside and professional services.
Providing estimates, project justification, and preparing CEPs and TORs (Terms of Reference) for all Front End Loading (FEL) phases of projects as needed.
Recommending process improvements and alterations for improved performance and safety.
Making field inspections of proposed and current projects.
Supervising specific projects involving company and contract personnel.
Additional duties as assigned.
EXPERIENCE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS :
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required for the position: Bachelor of Science in Engineering required.
Process Engineer discipline background preferred.
Positive attitude, friendly demeanor, and a team player.
Oil, gas or chemical plant experience.
10+ years project management experience.
Self-starter who is able to adapt to the role quickly.
Solid early FEL experience.
